Hi there - me again! Aside from scoping out the vast world wide web - does anyone know of any reliable resources that can be used for learning how to effectively use JQL to better what you are doing in JIRA?

Below are some guides I recommend you check out. Also what David said definitely helps. That is how I learned alot of my JQL skills. Another resource is Youtube. There are usually tons of videos on there.
I do not know of any off the top of my head other than Atlassian's documentation.
Something you can do which may be helpful is, construct your query in basic mode when searching for issues then switch to advanced mode. This will show you what the query you built in basic mode actually looks like to give you a better idea on how to use keywords.
