Assignee numbers instead of names

Hi,

Why am I seeing Assignee and Reported user numbers and not actual names in JIRA ?

Assignee : User a169db

Reporter : User a169db

They are supposed to be actual names

I am also expiriancing this issue for all our team 

I logged in to id.atlassian.com and I see my profile full name and public name are updated BUT I still see numbers when I user my name in filter query . 

please help since this is annoying

Hi Bharathi,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When a user shows with a different name in Jira, it means that it's something related to their profile, because since 2017 with Atlassian account, admins can no longer manage users' information.

Can you please ask the user to go to their profile on id.atlassian.com and check how their full name and public name are set?

Thankyou for the reply. The above didn't actually give me a solution.. but I guess there was some JIRA downtime and after that everything was back to normal.
