Auto fill custom fields

Hi all,

I have request from customer to get one filed named for example Company, and then oder fields like contact person, address to be automatically filled with data that is stored somewhere.

I was looking for some plugin but i did not find any. Anybody knows plugin like that?

In short.

Customer searches in dropdown for Company, when one selected, other fields like Address, Contact Person, are automatically filled from some kind of DB.

Hello, you can use NFEED, you can use database and run some queries to populate automatically some customfields

There is also an option, to auto populate specific field from free text field (like summary or description) with ML1 plugin.

You can check the Script Runner plugin, you can create lots of different field behaviors with it.

I recommend checking this two Community questions as examples for getting and setting the value of a field.
