Hi, I'm new in automation and my first automation doesn't work as I would expect.
As Trigger I have a manuel trigger. A button that can be clicked by everyone. And then an Action for creating an issue. In this case its a Sub-Task Issue and I want to assign this issue to the user who triggered the event. The user wo pressed the automation button in an issue.
But everything I tried, everytime the issue is assigned to the Actor of the automation rule.
What am I missing? Thanks in Advance
What I find strange is that if you look in history of the created issue you can see that it was created correctly but is changed immediately after that to another value.
Ok, problem was the workflow. There was a Postfunction in the create Transition, where assignee is set.
Hi @Andreas Lorz ,
I could achieve the same using the below automation. The only change I did was 'Project: Same project as trigger'
