Hello to all of you,
do you have any idea if JIRA administrator can configure initial behavior of basic search filter? We use JIRA 6.2.3 and when an user click at Issues - Search for issues all issues are shown because all fields of basic filter is set up to All values. But there are more than 100,000 issues and it took a while to read all of them into buffer and display a list of them. Number if issues is still growing, more and more. The time spent on displaying the list is going to be longer and longer.
Is that possible to configure basic search to show no issue as default? Then the user has to modify filter settings to display issues according to their need. JIRA 4.x is said to behave like that, but I cannot reproduce that.
With regards,
Leos

Hi Peter,
I have studied referenced answer and found described JIRA behavior is hard coded, with no possiblity of coonfiguration. Thouh not nice discovery, it's good to know that. Thanks for your post!

Leos
