We want to update the status of our task from a remote app, thus we would like to know the best user management strategy to achieve this.
What's teh best practice for this ?
Should we create a specific user with the according roles to do that ? One for our production environement and one for our staging/dev environement ?
The user will communicate to our cloud jira via Rest Api
Most organizations I've seen have a generic user account that gets used for this. As you've mentioned, you'll need to make sure this user has access to all the projects it will be creating/updating issues in.
