Bidirectional cascade field

javier fernandez July 21, 2016

Thats the question how to get two cascade fields working in two directions?

putting value in field A, you have options in B

putting value in field B you have values on A.

Thanks.

You'd need to write a new custom field type to be able to do that.  The logical structure of the internal cascading select is parent/child, not free-form.

You might be able to do it with two standard select lists though, linked by Behaviours from the Script Runner add-on

I think actual script-runner plugin does not provide "JS Behaviours"

I just see groovy code like fields,functions,conditions...

Nope, that's wrong, Behaviours became part of it over a year ago.

Unless you're on a quite old version, Behaviours is in the Script Runner.
