Can I Add time spent from CSV to exisiting issues?

Hello everyone,

I am rather new in the world of Jira, so please excuse me, if i don't provide all necessary information immediately :-)

alright, here goes:

I want to import the amount of time spent on an issue from a CSV without creating a new issue alltogether. The reason behind this is, that time spent on a given task is currently recorded in an Excel spreadsheet. And to not immediately overrun the users with a new system we want to keep the old system until we are sure we can roll out the pilot to all colleagues.
