Can a delete a Active sprint or Closed sprint?

I would like delete Active sprint or closed sprint I have all the permissions but still unable to delete closed or Active sprints in Jira 7.0.2 version. Could you please help me in resolving this issue.

Hi Srinath,

It is not possible to delete Active Sprints or Closed Sprints in Jira 7.0.2.

Starting in Jira 7.5 we have added the ability to delete closed sprints. This is noted in the Suggestion JSWSERVER-9220 - Allow Deletion of Sprints
