Can't run Time Sheet Report using JIRA timesheet reports and gadgets add-on - 502 Error

When I try to run the timesheet report on projects, I get 502 error after a long (30 - 60 seconds) wait with "The proxy server could not handle the request GET /secure/ConfigureReport!default.jspa" message.

In atlassian-jira.log file, I see messages "an empty i18n key was provided in /secure/views/browser/configurereport.jsp".
