A customer team uses a custom web application that automatically creates tickets based on a parent ticket in another project in the same JIRA instance. These new tickets can be as many as several thousands and are linked to the parent via "Issue Linking". We can therefore end up with the parent ticket having thousands of Outward Links (Cloned to).
Before acting on this request, I would like to find out if having such extremely high number of Issue Links will not impact the overall performance of JIRA.
Any thoughts on this is highly appreciated.
Thank you!
