Can we select where our Jira Cloud's data stored?

We are in a specially regulated industry where we have to store all of our business data in Canada.

Is there a way we can specify the storage location of our Jira Cloud tenant?

For example, Office 365 allows their customer to select the storage location at service signup date.

Our datacenters are hosted within the US and EU at this moment and the location of the instance will be optimise based on the region the users access from and Eventually, we will host on other region.

Can I choose the location of where my JIRA or Confluence cloud instance data resides?

Atlassian will optimize where customer data is located based on how it is accessed around the world. As an example, if the majority of the users access Jira or Confluence cloud instances from Europe, then their data will be migrated to Europe. 

Europe is just the beginning

Atlassian will continue to add cloud hosting regions, not only in Europe but around the world in order to further strengthen performance and provide local failover options.
