Can you import sub-tasks from Word into Jira?

Hello

Does any one know , if I were to create a strutured template in word can this be imported into Jira to create sub-tasks?

I am intending to capture functional requirements via the word document and am hoping that a plugin may exisit that would allow me to import the requirements (as sub-tasks) into Jira. Any ideas?

As far as I know, no. Can you try the CSV format instead?

Thanks Timothy. I could via excel but I was rather hoping (like HP QC) there would be a way to import from a word document

We are also in the lookout for facility to import from MS-Word format. Please let us know if there is any update on this need.

As an alternative, will importing from Word into Confluence and then into JIRA help? Any thoughts?
