Combined project issue calendars

Is it possible to view all tasks from all projects on one calendar? Ideally as a dashboard gadget. It would be useful to see tasks spanning multiple days too.

sure can. here's how:

1. create and save a filter that includes all issues you wish to see on the calendar. in your case, that sounds like everything open.
2. add the "JIRA Issues Calendar" widget on your dashboard.
3. configure the widget to use the filter you created in step 1.

it's worth mentioning that when i read 'view all tasks on one calendar,' i interpret that to mean you're looking to see the due dates of these tasks laid out on a calendar. if you're instead thinking along the lines of a gantt chart, look at this plugin:
