Hello,

I need help trying to configure JIRA to work with Office365.

I've tried using the following settings:

Secure SMTP

SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com

Port: 587 and 465

TLS: yes

username & password credentials.

I've tried several times to configure this but I keep getting the same error from JIRA when I test the connection:

"Unfortunately no connection was possible. Review the errors below and rectify:

  • NoRouteToHostException: No route to host"

I need some help.

You need to use a different hostname for this
e.g.: tenant.mail.protection.outlook.com (replace this with the MX endpoint for your O365 tenant, always ends with "mail.protection.outlook.com")
SMTP Port: 25
TLS: Yes

You should check and see if there are any firewalls preventing connectivity.  This could be a client firewall or a network firewall.
