Confluence Page Gadget no longer working in JIRA 6.0.8, error 404

The dashboard that used to display the confluence page gadget is now displaying

Error loading gadget from https://docs.ksmpartners.com/wiki/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.gadgets:confluence-page-gadget/gadgets/confluence-page-gadget.xml: org.apache.shindig.gadgets.GadgetException: Unable to retrieve gadget xml. HTTP error 404

I can't find the confluence page gadget plugin in admin/add-ons to see if it is disabled  or out of date.  I also can no longer find this gadget when I choose "Add Gadget".

Hi Jeannette,

The error 404 suggests a not found for the URL you are using.

I suggest to check if the base URL is correct for both Confluence and JIRA and also recreate the application links between them to make sure they can communicate.

Also, check if JIRA if this confluence gadget URL is correct: https://docs.ksmpartners.com/wiki/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.gadgets:confluence-page-gadget/gadgets/confluence-page-gadget.xml

You can test this by trying to paste the URL above in a browser and check if you can retrieve the XML from it. If not, then there is a problem with the URL.

The gadget url does not work. The base url for confluence is correct. Why would we be unable to re-add the gadget to the dashboard using Add Gadget? The confluence page gadget is no longer listed. Which plugin do we need to enable this gadget?
