Hi there
Is it possible now, or planned in a later release, to ALPHA SORT the list of projects when creating a new Issue from the "Create Issue" dropdown? I've got 30 projects and growing rapidly and it's getting hard to use!
Mark
What version are you running? I am running JIRA 4.4.4. The way i see my list sorted is ordered in two groups. The top ten are under a heading that reads "Recent Projects," which I assume is in the order of my last access. The rest fall under a heading that reads "All Projects." Those are alphabetized. Those that are in the Recent Projects list are repeated in the alphabetized All Projects list. I probably have about fifty in my list.
Hi Beth ... well, thanks for the reply ... I'm running JIRA 5 now (woohoo, upgrade 2 days ago) ... and I see the same as you - Recent Projects in order accessed and All Projects, alpha-sorted.
Hmm, so what was I seeing before and why!?!? How random! Consider this closed unless someone else wants to re-open as they have the same problem! :-)

Sridhar,
The list of projects that are shown are the ones in which you have create permission for issues. If you need to get rid of projects appearing for everyone, ensure that the right project permissions are in place.
