I currently have a link on our Confluence webpage that takes you directly to the 'Create Issue' page (http://jira.ncr.com/secure/CreateIssue.jspa?pid=12554&issuetype=7&Create=Create)
Is there a way to pass a value in this link to automatically fill in a field ('Other Customer' field)?
I think this page may have the info you need:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACOM/Automating+JIRA+operations+via+wget
I've tried the following with no luck:
result: new jira ticket is created, but 'Other Customer' field (customfield_10100) is still not populated
result: "XSRF Security Token Missing" error message.
JIRA could not complete this action due to a missing form token.
You may have cleared your browser cookies, which could have resulted in the expiry of your current form token. A new form token has been reissued.
Problematic action: CreateIssueDetails.jspa
The original input has been captured and you can retry the operation.
Sorry, but any file attachments in the original input will be lost.
