Different stages of progress

What is a good way to set different stages for issues In Progress?

Some of my tasks go through different phases during progress. I'd like to visualize this in my Kanban board. Is ?labels a way to do this or are there other/better alternatives

The right way would be to add more statuses to the workflow. Are you able to do that? If not, we can check alternatives.
