We're currently on Jira Software 7.3.8 and whenever teams create issue collectors and an issue is submitted via the issue collectors, those issues will automatically have a label applied to them. Ex: collector-15cfaeae. This is very confusing to people looking at the issue.
How do I disable this on all issue collectors? Alternatively, how do we update the name of the auto-generated label? Are there any fixes that the users can do themselves?
I've sifted through the Jira Software documentation as well as the forums and couldn't find any information on this. Can someone please help?
We are facing the same issue. I reported this to Atlassian and they have submitted a bug to address the problem. Please click here to vote for and watch this bug.
Hi @steng18
I am facing this issue as well. Couldn't find any info on this as well. I have followed a workaround, where I put in a WF postfunction to clear the label value while creating the issue. It removed the auto-generated label value.
Got the job done though!
