Error in Bob Swift CLI - Unexpected argument: addUserToGroup Error: Parameter 'action' is required

Hi,

For an hour I'm trying to use CLI but it keeps giving me some errors:

Error: Unexpected argument: addUserToGroup
Error: Parameter 'action' is required.

Client error: 1 actions failed from file: C:\TEST\atlassian-cli-3.1.0\test.csv

I'm using the following command:

java -jar "%dirPath%"/lib/jira-cli-3.1.0.jar --server http://XXXXX --user XXXXX --password XXXXX --action runFromCsv --file test.csv --common "--action addUserToGroup --group \"XXXXX\" "

My .csv file looks like this:

userId
XXXXX
XXXXX

Hi @Todor Kostadinov

Thank you for the response. We did notice that you have executed the command and shared it with us. We see that you have mentioned, CLI plugin is actually 3.8.0 and earlier the command showed v3.1.

1. Can you please go to the Manage apps page and expand the Jira CLI app and share us the screenshot? We just want to confirm the connector you have. Connector is the one which is installed in the Manage Apps Page.

2. If you are using the client v3.1 or v3.9, we request you to download the same CLI client which is installed in the Manage Apps page from the below link.
https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACLI/pages/196772050/Downloads+-+Version+5.x

Once you do so, please run the command by adding *--debug* and share the results here?

Note: We have made you the reporter of the following support ticket. We will request you to access the following support request for further communication

https://bobswift.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SUPPORT-4566

Please let us know if you have any other questions

Thanks

Hi @Todor Kostadinov

We are from BobSwift support team and we have created a support request on behalf of you in our portal. Please sign up here
https://bobswift.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SUPPORT-4566 to our portal and let us know once you are successful with the signup process. We will add you as the reporter and then you can access the following support ticket

https://bobswift.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SUPPORT-4566

and signup to our portal for further discussion on this ticket. Please provide your userid and/or email address with which you have signed up. We'll add you as a Reporter of the request so that you'll be able to access the Support ticket.

Currently, We are analyzing your issue and would like to know the below details in order to move forward with our analysis:

We see that you are using the CLI v3.1.0. If you are using any of the latest versions of Jira, then can you please upgrade the CLI client to the latest one from the below page?

https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACLI/pages/16875586/Downloads

You will need to ensure that you have the latest connector as well.

If you are still facing the same issue, please let us know the following information

1. Jira Version?
2. Jira CLI Connector version, which you can get once you go to the Manage Apps page and expanding the Jira CLI app?
3. Append --debug to the command and share the results here?

Note: We have tested the same command in the v9.3.0 and we are able to add the user to the respective group successfully.

acli.bat myjira --action runFromCsv --file "addUserToGroup-new.CSV" --common "--action addUserTogroup --group \"group1\""

Thanks
Yoga
