Dear All,
when trying to import a project from backup we get the following error:
How could we fix this?
Can you please help?
Thanks in advance,
Rumi
Hi Rumi,
You can refer to the documentation below to understand how non-matching Custom Fileds Plugin versions can interfer in your project import:
Basically, check the versions of those plugins (target instance against the instance where the backup was generated from), and follow the appropriate steps provided in the documentation.
Hope it helps!
Hi Jeison,
thanks for the reply!
We did as the documentation hints but it still not working.
The problematic plugins are:
Support Tools plugin,
JIRA Charting plugin and
JIRA Toolkit plugin
On both JIRA the same plugin versions are configured even so we have the same error.
The problem is that these custom fields the project import error report refers are not visible in the Admin-Custom Fields menu.
The backup project 'PROJECT' requires custom field named 'Common tools' with full key 'com.atlassian.jira.toolkit:supporttools'. In the current instance of JIRA the plugin is at version '0.34.5', but this custom field was not installed in the backup data. You may want to create an XML backup with this version of the plugin installed.
The backup project 'PROJECT' requires custom field named 'Date of First Response' with full key 'com.atlassian.jira.ext.charting:firstresponsedate'. In the current instance of JIRA the plugin is at version '1.10', but this custom field was not installed in the backup data. You may want to create an XML backup with this version of the plugin installed.
