Hello, 

I'm doing a migration from assembla to Jira and I encounter this issue:

Field  cannot be set. It is not on the appropriate screen, or unknown

Already tried other developer suggestions but so far nothing worked

I created the custom fields and added them to the proper screens

But when I look through the api of that screen I see the fields are not there.

Have you associated those screens with the project(s) and issue type(s) you are importing the data into?

We are getting the same error when trying to add a start date to an issue - on an existing screen - but it seems to disappear and allow the entry the next time you try it.
