Formatting does not work across lines.

Any idea why formatting doesn't function as expected, when a linebreak is within the text to be formatted, in a JIRA ticket comment?

Hi Chung.

I submitted it as feedback when I discovered it.

If I add a comment to an issue in JIRA, and I format the text of the comment, it does not consistently work.

_split comment_   << that will be italicized.

_split

comment_     << that will NOT be italicized.  Instead, I would have to do:

_split_

_comment_

Do you have any example on this? That would give us a better representation of the formatting.
