Getting Internal Error when trying to attach a file to issue

Hi,

When trying to upload a file more than 1MB I'm getting an internal error that file cannot be uploaded. When it's less then 1MB it is uploaded successfully.

Our Jira attachments max size is 100MB. What can be the reason of failure?

This is the error I get "HTTP413: PAYLOAD TOO LARGE - The server is refusing to process a request because the request entity is larger than the server is willing or able to process."

We are using JIRA Server.

Based on the error I'd say the error comes from the web server (nginx or Apache probably) and not the Jira. Please ask your server admin to change the related settings.
