Hi,
I need to create a report of Crowd group usage in Jira Projects and Confluence Space. I would not want to filter it based on Organization not. But we need to get a way to identify which projects are using any crowd group. It can be a consolidated report or an excel macro which the user can try to input a crowd group name to it and then search for any Jira Project and Confluence space that uses it and against what role.
If you have SQL access you can get the groups and project roles from the DB - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-get-a-list-of-permissions-granted-to-groups-assigned-to-project-roles-790630266.html
You can do something similar in Confluence - https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-list-which-spaces-a-group-can-access-720636535.html
You might need to tweak the SQL to get exactly what you need but this should get you started in the right direction.
Thanks @Brant Schroeder

Hi!
Tracking group usage in Jira/Confluence can be a challenge, but Group Master for Jira/Confluence makes it simple! You can easily see where each group is being used across all your projects—no more searching or guessing. It’s all in one place, making things way more organized. You also can export the usage of group as CSV
Give it a try and see how easy it can be!

And another advanced group management capabilities:
View group usage across Jira
Edit group names for clarity
Move or copy group members easily
Replicate or migrate group usage
Delete groups and clean up associated data
Thanks
