Hiding Native Menus for specific JIRA groups

Hi Guys,

I need to hide the “Boards” menu for a specific jira group. Is there any possible and secure way to do it other than java-script please (maybe, at the level of access groups) ?

 I appreciate your help as the developers community colleagues redirect me to this forum.

If you want to make it in a more secure way then do not give the users Jira-software license and they will not be able to use boards.

Hi @Krisztian Kovacs,

I used it and it perfectly hides the menu, but, unfortunately, I tried to hack it via javascript and I succeeded:) , so, I should think of a different (secure) way to do that.

In a nutshell: if you have scriptrunner, you can hide UI elements with some simple coding.
