I think its posible if configure/modify some config files Jira Server, but I don't known what files need will change.
Hi,
Jira DC is meant for multiple nodes. This cannot be done on the fly.

Hi,
The following is needed in order to move from server to DC for JIRA,
- JIRA DC license
- Shared home directory (Must be NFS or NAS)
- Load balancer (optional in case of single node)
Note: Pls make sure to backup your JIRA server instance ( both file system and DB) before the migration as a safety precaution
Apply the JIRA DC license and then Shutdown your JIRA and follow the instruction in the link given below:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/installing-jira-data-center-861253059.html
Basically, you need to setup a shared home directory and copy / move the folders from local JIRA home directory to the shared home directory and then create cluster.properties file and then start JIRA to access it. This will become 1 node DC and then add more nodes as per steps from above docs.
You can perform this migration or steps in Stage or Non-PROD environment to verify the migration process and if you feel comfortable then perform it on production env.
Hope this helps

@Shankar Asam {Appfire} provided the correct answer, however, there is no reason you can't use a Data Center license on your Server instance. All you would do is install the Data Center license instead of the Server license.
I'd also recommend reading over the changes that are coming to Data Center Apps non Sept 3. You will likely need to get new App licenses too.

It's more than "change a bit of config", but not a scary amount. Essentially, you make the server into a single node, and then start adding the other nodes you want.
