How can I delete others worklogs??

Olivia Orr March 15, 2018

Hi everyone

How are you going? :)

I need to delete work logs of others users, unfortunately I could not find how to do it

I'm administrator and actually I can only delete my own work log.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Olivia,

You can configure your permission scheme, to have the permission to "Delete All Worklogs".

The steps to configure it are:

  1. Click in "Settings";
  2. Select the option "System";
  3. Go to "Permission schemes";
  4. Choose the one you want to modify;
  5. Add yourself or the group you want, to the permission "Delete All Worklogs"

With this steps, you should be able to delete worklog from other issues.

I'm also sending documentation, regarding to the permission schemes, in case you need.

Hi Gabriel

Thanks for the help!! I verify that my user had the permissions to delete all the worklogs and then what happened was that the issue was in a closed state, when I modified the state to canceled, I was able to delete the worklog.

I guess since the issue was in a closed state, that did not allow me to delete it.

problem solved :)

Hi, what do you mean by: "Choose the one you want to modify"?

What link should I click on?
