We have shared sprints for sub-teams with separate boards and one board for the overall team.
When I create a new and empty sprint it appears on the board where I created it. is THERE A WAY TO MAKE IT VISIBLE ON THE OTHER BOARDS WITHOUT MOVING A TICKET that FITS TO THE BOARD FILTER INTO THAT sprint?
sorry for Caps Lock )-:
such a feature to share empty sprints among boards does not seem desireable, as it would lead to the consequence that all empty sprints would show up in all boards. Note that empty sprints would bypass the board filters, if not explicitely excluded there.
I'm wondering the same thing. I can see any sprints that were created from another board and already have issues in them, but cannot see existing sprints created on another board that don't have issues in them.

They might not be technically owned by the board but they do show up, empty, on the board they were created in. Would be great to know how to get them to show on others are well, without needing to move issues into it :-(

I ran into the same situation as well.
How can we see our empty sprint on a different board ?
Do you think something could be set in Jira DB or else where to correct it?
Thank you.

I saw the following statement in one of the forums: "Sprints are actual Global objects, so they aren't technically owned by a board. If the filter for a board brings in issues that are already associated with a Sprint, that Sprint is going to be associated with that board as well, and show up as you've described."
I guess this is by design. This means that we need to have an aggregated board and the teams should start their planning from that board.
