How can SharePoint 2013 index the JIRA attachments?

We need our SP 2013 to index the JIRA attachments.

Is there a way of doing that?

JIRA does not index attachments by default.

What you could do is create a JIRA add on that indexes attachments and get SharePoint to read that index.

Yes, I saw that yesterday. I'm trying to understand if I can use that and if SharePoint can index another system's index.
