How do I add sub tasks to the sub task drop down list in a create field

I want to make sub task. I go to an issue, click more > create sub-task > dialog box opens and the first field is the issue type drop down box.

How do I add more choices to this list. I have created them in system > issue types > sub-tasks.

they need to be in the issue scheme used by the project
