How to automatically change the assignee via a move issue type?

Hi,

is it possible to automatically change the assignee when an user moves an issue from one type (eg. bug) to another type (eg. development). Both issue type use different workflows so I found no way do this via a post function.

Any idea or tipp is welcome, but maybe that could not be done so easily...

Hi Hans Meier,

I believe something like what you say could be done via screens. A screen can be associated with a status action from the workflow scheme (which is associated with the project). In this screen, you can show a multitude of fields and the Assignee is one of them.
