How to change donut pie chart to regular pie chart in jira 6.4 ?

The  pie chart in Dashboard gadget has been changed to donut chart.

is it possible  to  get old style pie chart?

Oh, I see, you upgraded. No, the new version of the gadget is going to draw doughnuts in 6.4+. You could try extracting the plugin from an older version, and using that instead, but it's a bit of a faff and totally unsupported.

We are currently on JIRA 6.2, and we would like to upgrade to 6.4.  However the doughnut pie chart become something blocking us to upgrade as engineers prefer the old chart with numbers showing directly on the pie.  We tried to reinstall Charting plugin version 1.23 that was associated with JIRA 6.2, however it did not change anything. The pie chart is still doughnut.  

Can anyone suggest some other workaround?

In what version of Confluence Server will the pie be upgraded to the donut? We're on 5.10.8, still have the ugly pie.
