How to check the release date (as filter) of a version selected in a single version picker?

I am trying to define filters (for swimlanes) based on the release date selected in a Version Picker (Single Version) custom field.

Anyone an idea how the code could be looking like?

You can not JQL for that date. If you put the date in the name of the version, that can act as a workaround.

What is the use of the version release date, if I have to duplicate it everywhere to use it?
