How to delete all attachments from an issue on transition?

I want to automatically delete all attachments from some issues on their transition to Closing, since the information won't be needed anymore.

How can I do this? I have several plugins to help such as JMWE or Scriptrunner.

Using JMWE, you can simply use the Clear Field Value post-function configured with the attachment field...
