Hello everyone,
I'm trying to configure JIRA Software to send its notifications not only via email but also via Telegram. Surprisingly, I haven't found similar posts here.
Has anyone accomplished such a task before? If so, what tools have you used? I'd be grateful for any relevant feedback!
Thanks a lot!
Our team is working on a plugin for Jira Server, its in beta now. We collect feedback and feature requests, so if you are interested you can try it out Here.
We also have a telegram group where you can chat with developers directly https://t.me/ItransitionAtlassianSupp

Hi! Try this free Telegram bot https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227071?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
It works with both Cloud and Server Jira. Set up is very easy and you don't need to be Jira admin to get notifications from your Jira. It also has a great configuration options to receive only important notifications

It is still not a simple solution and JIRA doesn't support Telegram out of the box.
I've found a lot of Telegram bots, that can receive notifications and much more, but they require self hosted installation on standalone server, additional configuration, etc.

Also you can find a few paid cloud solutions.

Hi!
I have tried to use this code it is so good, but now our code so customized and used by few people.

Now we are using Microsoft Teams for notification, because it works out-of-the-box and corporate policy.
I have not checked this code:
