How to take Backup for Project

Hi,

I want to create local copies of specific projects and Spaces, I have 2 question regarding that: 

1- How to take backup for Jira specific Proejct and how to restore it.

2- How to expert Conflence Space and restore it.

I'm using below version on premise:

• Jira  v8.20.11
• Conflence  7.13.7

Hi @Maher_Alshammari ,

There is no inbuilt feature in Jira to take backup of specific project.

We have to take the entire system backup from Admin Console--> System --> Import AND Export --> Backup system

Once you take the backup from UI , the backup file will get placed in Export directory of the Jira home directory.

In order to import single project Admin console --> System --> Project Import.

Confluence Export:

1. Log into Confluence and view the space you want to export.
2. In the bottom-left corner of the browser window, click Space tools, then select Content Tools.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the preferred export format.
   HTML will allow you to view the space as static web pages.
   XML format can be re-imported into Confluence.
   PDF creates a single document with all the content from your space.
5. Click Next. You will be presented with options relevant to the export format you chose. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the export process.

Jira doesn't provide a way to take a backup of a single project. There may be a plug-in that provides that.
