Import Problem

Hello,

we are trying to import a backup from a JIRA V4.4.1#660-r161644 .

So we followed the steps, we generated the zip backup, and uploaded it to the WebDAV storage.

The archive appears in the selection list, but when I click the next button, it sais :

Errors

• This archive doesn't contains any valid JIRA Export file

The zip files contains 2 xml, named 'activeobjects.xml' and 'entities.xml'.

What did I do wrong ?

I got this error too because I also archived the folder that the backup XML files were in. When I zipped the files at the root level, without the folder, it worked.

Hey Dean,

Perhaps you would like to check the start of the exported file from your source instance, maybe you can create a new backup and check the import operation again.
