Insight custom field context from multiple schemas

Hi All!

Is it possible to setup more than one object schema in an Insight custom field? We have X schemach for different countries and Global team need to see objects from same category from all country schemas in own Global Project (this will prevent use of correct context...).  Cannot be changed Insight CustomField definition via script or maybe direct SQL access?  Or create CustomField like this via JIRA RestApi ?

I’m wondering if you’d be better off having a single schema with a parent Global abstract object type with different Country object types below it. There could even be some basic inheritance for some of the attributes.

Hi @Julius Zatroch:

I don't think it allows you to have two schemas within a customfield configuration.

If you are using different Jira projects for the different teams, you can create contexts for your projects where different schemas and IQL filters can be used.

If it's the same project, I would use 2 different insight custom fields and then based on the region selection show/hide the correct insight custom field. Some plugins that will allow you to hide/show customfield are deviniti and powerscripts.
