We need to delete several gadgets that are no longer available in our Jira and we want to know if there is any way to delete them in bulk, either through the database or through the Jira console. We have been able to identify the IDs in the portletconfiguration table. Thank you in advance!
There is no way to do this other than deleting the entire dashboard. Do not touch the database, you will almost certainly corrupt it.
And it is not possible to do it through the Jira console ? (Script runner).

Oh, via Scriptrunner (the console is part of SR, not "the Jira console", so I thought you meant something else.
With a list of IDs, absolutely, yes. It's been a while since I worked with it, but I think you can use PortletConfigurationManager to both get the whole gadget object and then delete it.

Could you provide me with an example of what you're mentioning? I'm having trouble understanding the documentation link.
thank you very much!
