Very frustrating to have such a gorgeous plan and not be able to share it with our executive stakehoders. What a shame.
Has anyone found a way to export (to anything) even open an image from within confluence? I do not have configure rights to our Jira environment to downgrade to previous version.

If you are using the new improved planning interface of Portfolio for Jira, there is no option anymore for CSV export.
One possible option to export to real Excel files (not CSV )is our Better Excel Exporter for Jira app that integrates with Portfolio for Jira and able to create real Excel spreadsheets and reports.
(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid app (with a 30-day free trial) and I'm part of the team developing it.)

You can still export a plan and don't need any plugin.
Just go to the desired plan >> Configure >> Advanced >> Planning Interface >> "Disable improved interface", and it will downgrade your portfolio version. Then you can apply the solution proposed by @Chander Inguva
Also you can go back to the new plan whenever you want.
