Is there a way to have comments from 1 jira linked to another jira show up in that other jira?

When a support jira is created, we also create a Dev Task jira for the developer to review and log their time. It is essential, however, that comments from the dev task jira show up in the linked support jira, to ensure that the client facing team can provide info to the user. Is there a way for comments made in one jira be populated in the other without physically copy and paste?

Hey @Christian Arts , you can use Unito to do this. Here is an article with information on what can be synced in a Jira-Jira integration. Hope this helps :-)

you would need an app for that, e.g. Automation for Jira - trigger on comments added, condition if link exists, action copy comment to linked issue. Not sure that I should be but I worry a bit about performance implications of an automation that triggers on every comment. certainly would make it project specific vs. global.

there are certainly alternatives to A4J here.
