Is there any way in JIRA to connect Release Version from Project to issue type

Hi,

 

I am trying to find a way to connect Release Versions from JIRA Agile board to another Release Version field in the other project.

I have tried the Version picker field which displays all the released version but not able to find a suitable way to make a connection to other project.

 

Please share experiences.

Remember, projects and boards are two different things. Boards do not have to be directly linked to a specific project.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to share a release version between two projects.
