Hi ,

I require JIRA last 10 years data in my organiosation to eb archived in any other system where archival resides in our organisation.

For the same i require to fetch jira data specifically for various categories from JIRA and take it to XML format.

Can you please let me know the best way to do it either by database, GUI or Plugin ?

It will be more of a manual task as we have much data.</P>

do not only require Project but custom field, issue types etc also

You cannot extract specific projects in an xml directly. What i suggest you is take entire xml export of your production, import it on a test server and delete the project/(categories) you do NOT need and then take xml export again, this xml export will then contain projects you want to archive.
