JIRA DVCS links not working on GITHUB commits?

On GITHUB commits, I was unable to see the commits on JIRA issue. For some issues i was able to see the commits/pull details. (P.S: On all GITHUB commits we are providing the JIRA issue key)
After GITHUB commits should i do push to view the commits in JIRA? or GITHUB commit itself is enough to show the commits in JIRA?

As a workaround, You can see the commits by refresh list in JIRA DVCS configured repos.
