We need an official "Compatible" statement too.

Agreed. Since every change is going to be implemented at production, we also need an official statement in order to confirm the compatible functionality of the plugin and the newest version of JIRA.

Thanks, I am planning to upgrade JIRA to the latest version and I want to make sure that all my existing plugins works under the new version

Have you tried installing it manually through the "Manage Add-ons" page, as it may work actually even if not marked compatible ?
