JIRA Software Upgrade Path from 7.1.1 to 8.10.0

Hi,

In one of my project we've a requirement to upgrade JIRA Software from 7.1.1 to 8.10.0.

I was trying to do auto upgrade directly to 8.10.0 but it's giving me Licence Error. Could you please help me with the upgrade path for 7.1.1 to 8.10.0

Hi,

do you have active maintenance for your license? 

If yes, then it could be to 7.6. -> 7.13 -> 8.0 -> 8.10

If not you can only upgrade to latest version released in your maintenance window, if you do not want extend maintenance.

Hi,

Jira 8.10.0 has been released on 2020-06-23. You must have a valid licence on that date in order to upgrade to 8.10.0. 

Before starting upgrading, install your new license on v7 instance.

I'd first upgrade to 8.0.x and then 8.10.0
