Hi,
We have a JIRA Service desk 3.5.0 running on Windows Server 2016 Data center and we have a public IP for our Server so that we can access our JIRA using public IP & port from anywhere over the internet. Also we set a permanent redirect in Godaddy to redirect our domain name to the public IP of server running JIRA.
So whenever we click our domain name, it will redirect to JIRA Service desk tool. But it is showing our server Public IP to users but it should not be seen by others outside the network. Hence please suggest us for this URL settings so no one can see our Server IP address.
You have to make sure your base url is configured correctly and it is actually set to your domain address rather than the IP.
