JIRA imports/clean up

Wolfe Admins March 10, 2014

Hello all,

I am looking to clean up and condense two JIRA accounts to one. Also I want to get rid of all old custom fields and go back to a more basic setup. My question is has anyone ever done this and are there any tips.

Also is it posibble when exporting and then importating to only import the fields we want? I believe moving into the new system I would only want the following:

If you import data via CSV, you can remove the colums before the import. This requires creating the project on the new server first.

I have not done a full import in years and just don't remember if it's possible while importing a project versus importing data.
